2017 Monitoring the Future Study finds college students use marijuana more often than previous generations

John SchulenbergIn a story on Michigan Radio, John Schulenberg said that while college students are using more marijuana than previous generations, most of the marijuana use reported is from non-college students: “We’re at a point now where one in eight non-college youths are using marijuana on a daily, or near daily, basis.” This is concerning because near daily use by young adults can lead to cognitive problems and mental health issues.
