Evaluating Disparities in Older Adult Health, Institutionalization, and Mortality after Implementation of Medicaid’s Balancing Incentives Program

The goal of this project is to examine the impact of the Balancing Incentives Program (BIP) on health outcomes, institutionalization, mortality, and disparities. Several key tasks will be undertaken at the University of Michigan as part of this project. First, Dr. Friedman will oversee the quantitative analyses for the project including reviewing and providing feedback on data needs, analytic plans, and analytic findings. She will also help prepare papers for journal article submission, including taking the lead on several papers.
