Labor Demand Aspects of Working Longer – A Pilot Study using an Employer-employee Survey in the ALP

This project is a pilot study to test feasibility of an employer-employee survey aimed at studying labor demand aspects of working longer and retirement decisions. It will consist of a survey of employees using the RAND American Life Panel, then work at UM to attempt to recruit these employees? employers for a telephone screening and short survey about job features and employment prospects of workers with particular job features. If a telephone interview is successfully completed, the employer-side respondent will be routed back to RAND for a web survey.
