The Joint Program in Survey Methodology (JPSM) is sponsored in part by a consortium of US federal statistical agencies led by the Bureau of the Census. It is charged with developing and offering graduate degree programs in survey methodology to benefit the federal statistical system. A partnership between the Universities of Maryland and Michigan and Westat, Inc. (in Rockville, Maryland) runs the JPSM. The proposed request will support teaching and administrative activities of SRC staff for JPSM located both in Ann Arbor and at the University of Mayland in College Park, MD. We are providing JPSM at the University of Maryland a budget for Year 19 of the collaborative project.
We have already received a five year funding cycle commitment from the University of Maryland through FY 2012. In accordance, project grants have already been established for JPSM Years 19 and 20, with this proposed amount (Year 19 JPSM) being F018948.
