Robert Willis Study Cited in Forbes Column
A 2010 article, Mental Retirement, by Susann Rohwedder and Robert Willis was cited in a Forbes column about the benefit of a longer working life to boosting cognitive health. Rohwedder and Willis’ article found that retirement “had a significant negative impact on the cognitive ability of people in their early 60s. They speculate that retirement can lead to a less stimulating daily environment.”
