Die Stimmungs-Skala: Vorstellung und Validierung einer deutschen Version des ‘Mood Survey.’

Describes the Stimmungs-Skala (St-S), a German version of the Mood Survey by B. Underwood and W. J. Froming (1980); and presents results of 3 studies on the factorial structure, test-retest reliability, construct validity, and ecological validity of this questionnaire. The validation studies reveal that (1) the St-S is a reliable measure of 2 aspects of mood (chronic mood level and reactivity); (2) test scores are independent of social desirability; and (3) scores correlate with measures of sociability, level of activation, and depression. Possibilities for the use of the St-S and advantages of the St-S over state-oriented mood assessments are discussed. (English abstract) (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2007 APA, all rights reserved)
