Life events, subjective stress, and traffic accidents

Administered a questionnaire on the type and number of life changes, resultant adjustment required, subjective and physical stress, aggression, and alcohol abuse to 532 normal and alcoholic male drivers. Several significant correlations between traffic accidents and life and subjective stress were found. Aggression was the only personality variable to correlate significantly with accidents.
